So an EVS or to be precise an European Voluntary Service.
The service is expected to last for twelve months (more often known as one year) in a far away land both from Latvia and EU altogether. In The New Zealand!
Together with Madara Peipiņa we’ll dedicate our voluntary service for climate campaining organisation 350 Aotearoa, which is Wellington (the capital of NZ) based branch of global 350.org network. Together with our new colleagues in 350 Aotearoa we’ll be striving for climate change friendly actions and decisions, looking for implementing already known and available solutions in real life peoples lives, and helping out whatever way we can and learning from all of that too!
Along with the voluntary work with 350 Aotearoa we’ll be also working with our personal project “350 days for climate” represented in website/blog – 350days.org.
Our sending organisation is the NextYouth, a proud part of Aizpute and a specialist in motivating and pushing youth for a confident life and active participation in society.
